Tims Ford Reservoir / Woods Lake. The 10,700-acre Tims Ford Lake is one of the most picturesque in Tennessee, and is regarded as one of the top bass fishing and recreational lakes in the Southeast. Year-round fishing provides a substantial yield of bluegill, catfish, and crappie Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/day use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Tims/Wood Reservoir features many forks and coves and Tims Ford Rustic State Park. It runs about 11 miles. Woods lake is a little smaller at 6 by 2 miles at its widest point. It lies just northeast of Tims Ford Reservoir and features Coffee County Recreational area in its northern mid section (just off Tennessee State Route 127).
